Lubron has designed and delivered an ultrapure water system for the Pathology Laboratory at the Royal Derby Hospital in England. After consultation with the specialists at the hospital, it was decided on a duplex system for softening, desalination by reverse osmosis (R.O.), electro-deionization (C.E.D.I.) and UV disinfection.
Because the installation room had limited available space, all reverse osmosis and C.E.D.I. modules were built on a compact stainless steel frame.
The ultrapure water there is produced 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and the system has a capacity of 750 l/h and a conductivity of <0.070181µs/cm.
